Rutinas: two metal frames with blue, orange and yellow light panels in a concrete space

Every window reveals a different way of living.

Rutinas takes the ways homes are lit in Mexico and turns them into light scenes that follow the rhythms of day and night; each individual life becomes part of a shared landscape.

The installation is built from salvaged, modified light fixtures fitted with addressable LED strips. The scenes are generated procedurally, and each sequence was designed by the team from everyday life in collective housing, in a city marked by crowding and isolation.
